First affordable homes released for sale at Leyland development
January 14, 2022 | Dan ToddThe first batch of affordable homes for Shared Ownership have been released for sale at Farington Mews in Leyland.
Work at the £100m flagship site from national housebuilder Keepmoat Homes began in March last year, and will comprise of 520 homes once complete.
61 of these homes have been set aside for Onward Living to sell through the part buy, part rent Shared Ownership scheme, offering local first-time buyers a more affordable route onto the property ladder.
Six homes for Shared Ownership have been released in the first phase and can now be reserved off-plan. These include the three-bedroom Knightsbridge home, which is available from £76,000 for a 40% share; and the four-bedroom Hampton house type, which is priced at £102,000 for a 40% share.
Each thoughtfully designed, modern home combines space, flexible living and high specification kitchens and bathrooms. The homes for Shared Ownership also include en-suite shower rooms, off-street parking, and fully turfed gardens.
